You may not have far to swim toward or dive deep underwater to grab this batch of PSYCHOBUILDINGS Hearts (Remixes), ‘cause this original mix to (click my crutch stupid!) “Hearts” is enough electro n’ retro fun to get U inspired in reverting to putting back on those LEE Jeans n’ Le Tigre button-ups that U once used to rock back in the day! Lead singer/artist/dancer Peter LaBier does need to keep it in this vein, surround himself w/great songwriting n’ expert producers (hello Peter Wade!) to avoid easily falling into the overridden trend where too many mediocre hipster artists who dabble in this retro-electro category, leave no solid or significant mark n’ quickly abandon the idea for a more solid, traditional rock career. C’mon U know who U are. Besides, last time I heard Pet Shop Boys are still around, so it could be done. A good song’s a good song no matter the genre. Do it, wear it n’ rock it well!
