Not to sound smug, but it seems obvious that drug lords have a greater conscience: their activities certainly do less damage to people than Republican policies would today. Republicans are not social. They are not for people, they are for big business and big banks. Their policies are destructive to people (and to the economy)!

The quote’s NOT from the image above (a teary-eyed crack user in Rio De Janeiro), but from a past NYC law student’s feedback on a fascinating Huffington Post article “Brazil Drug Dealers Ban Crack: Slum Dealers Say Drug ‘Destabilizes’ Community” on Brazil’s dwindling minority of crack users due to the conscience of the drug lords there, hastily eradicating the drug off their streets, even though it may gain the quickest profits. Because the adverse effects are far more troubling, these drug lords rather eliminate their sale of it all together.
